Went out and checked mine, yep it falls in the range.
I sent them an email, because I am fairly certain that my manufacturer will not contact me.
Perhaps some of the manufacturer's can let us know what they are hearing.

Yes I did, it is a recording that takes your info so that they can send you an info package as soon as they know what they will do.
This is why I was hoping that some of the factory reps might give us some insight.

my fridge is included in the model/serial numbers listed in this recall.
contacted the rv dealer to see if they had any info or action plan.
they hadn't heard about the recall.
so I phone the dometic number, everything was OK until it asked a 5 digit numeric zip code.
couldn't figure out how to enter my 6 digit alpha numeric postal code.
the recording went into a infinit loop of incorrect zip code so I had to hang up.
anybody in canada phone in yet and get past this zip code issue?

What model do you have in your BF ? I have the RM2652, but it falls outside of the serial number range.

Ric managed to contact them, maybe send him a PM and find out how he did it.

I too have the RM2652 model, same as Bigfoot, and my serial number also not within the serial number range. But, I did call and left my information to get a info packet.

my bigfoot has a RM2652 and it is included in the recall serial number ranges.

the rv dealer I bought the camper from also managed to talk to a real person at dometic.
for canadian owners trying to enter their info on the recall hotline the dometic contact suggested using dometic's zip code 46514 to get past this entry.
then you are prompted for your phone number.
dometic will have to contact you to get your canadian postal code.

a woman from dometic called this morning to clarify my "zip code".
looks like using their zip code alerted them to the problem with their recorded message system.
had to explain that north of the 49th we have postal codes.
she will be mailing out a recall information "package" shortly.
did not devulge any info on it's contents or instructions.

No problem, I'm not leaving til mid June. If timing is right you should try to make the NW rally which will likely be the weekend before memorial day.

I can't promise anything, but will darn sure try. I'd like to meet the rest of the group. we will be going to Rockaway OR first then on up to your locations. Have everything ready and about ready to get on the road for Baja next month.
Oh by the way thanks for Bob Acosta's name and number. He was great to deal with and I belive I got a fair price for insurance in Baja.
Will keep you posted.
