That's great to hear. Karl & I look forward to meeting you both. It shouldn't be a problem hooking up with the rest of the caravan in Rockport. We had several do that last year.

Now if my computer or the forum would cooperate so I could see the photo of your rig... :broken_heart:

I did a winter one in Steamboat a few years back for rv.netter's and just got one other couple to go. I guess that's what you get in the winter! I missed the one the gang here did last fall at Mueller though I did buy and then end up donating my site. I'm afraid to be the leader on setting up a camping trip as the commitment can often be hard to make.....especially to regular RV campgrounds/State Parks. So we usually end up doing weekends or long weekends and doing the boondocking thing and that can be a lot harder to plan....you never know for sure what sites you will end up getting.

I am down to 2 vacation days for the year now and they are all precious. Wish I was retired like many of you all and could spend an entire week on something like this. Or better yet, be able to work from the camper. THAT is what I am really working on.....

I am always keeping my eyes open for group trips in the area though. If someone sets one up I'll always try to make it.

GROOP PHOTO

If we stop at that big turn-off along side the road again this year, could everyone pull up tight to the camper in front of them?
And lead camper has to pull forward enough so that the others can fit behind them.

If its not pouring cats and dogs, I'll scamper up the hill across the highway and get a groop photo like the one in my signature, only better - and I'll upload the photo in full size for anyone to download for their scrapbook.

And too, if everyone would stand alongside the drivers door for their rig. . .

:)
