I've seen a lot of handles or user names out there. a lot of them intrigue me. For my part "Freedom" is exactly that. Thats what a TC does for me. I have also used it for my company name.
One of my favorite user names is XNORP. The story behind that is great. anyone else got a user name story to share ?

I've been on the internet since the early 90's. Early on it was easy to just use a favorite handle everywhere but as time went on I would go to new internet sites and my name would be taken. I went through a few handles back then because I would always come to a place where it was already in use. So I started trying to come up with something unique and one day I saw an advertisement for a gaming computer called the "HIVEMIND". To make a long story short I switched it around and have been using it since 1999 or so and have found that no one else is using it yet. So, if you see it in use somewhere else check to see if its me and if its not tell them the name is copyrighted by Intel or Microsoft or something and soon they will be in a legal battle over it. :fing32:

Back in the day, we owned a Dakota truck. We were tent campers at the time. Looking out of the office window, trying to come up with a name, I saw the fairly new truck sitting under the carport. So I took the name of the truck and put it with my favorite thing to do to come up with DakotaCamper. I've had it for over 5 years.

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Been running rivers most of my life, this takes us down many canyon areas where birds tend to gather and one of our favorite bird songs is that of the Canyonwren. We used it as our email address and it stuck. Now we call our TC Canyonwren and our blog Canyonwren Travels. It's been fun and it has proved to be a hard email address for the spam folks to get come up with, so our junk mail is minimal. :character0053:
