Pretty good Larry.

I am considering uploading Rick Mercer's "Talking to Americans" but I'm not sure how it will be taken. Can you laugh at yourselves?

Let's see...24 out of 30 on the U.S. test, and 38 out of 40 on the Canadian one. :trink08:

....spending way too much time learning totally useless essential information....

Paul, part of being a Canadian is the ability to laugh at ourselves. Therefore, if Larry aspires to be an "Honorary Moose Mugger" it's a skill he'll just have to learn. Upload it!!! :fing32:

Ok, I also took the 40 question test and scored 53 percent right. Sorry guys I should have done better, but in my own defense there were no questions on what is a great Canadian beer, who has the best fish and chips in Whiterock, where are the Canadian Gulf Islands, what is the main breed of dog in Newfoundland, what is a baby diaper called (napkin), what is a napkin called (servette)(spelling on that one). Who was the best looking prime ministers wife (Margarett), one of the most beautiful places in the world (Princess Louisa) (spelling again maybe), and why in the hell did your test have more questions..........

Go Canucks.........

Mike

Okay, I got 15. Seems I don't know enough about the states yet, got any grants that would assist a lowly Canuck in his quest to "FUEL" exploration.

You must have bumped into a lot of people coming the other way, doc. When I went to university up here in 68, every second student was a draft dodger. from the US.

Dan, I think I understand your point, but the fact of the matter is that we can firmly put the blame for kids not knowing who the US declared independence from in 1776 or what president was in power during the civil war, on our educational system. We teach how to get in touch with your inner self, but nothing on history, government, science or math. I think, IMHO, your test does directly deal with the educational system in the US and Canada. and franly, I see nothing to be too proud of here.

As much firm blame can be put on parents for on one hand, expecting teachers to be baby sitters, and the other hand, suing a teacher for paddling or otherwise dealing with the brats. It makes it hard to teach when their hands are tied behind their backs, and politicians/school boards are taping over their mouths (telling them what they can or can't teach...like evolution...) Hope that's not over the line....

Ooops! PS: I only got 24 right....I ignored my first instinct a couple of time (like the give me liberty or give me death statement) and should have known better....

63% on the one for Canada.....a lot of guesses though.
2006 Lance 1191 - loaded, on 2005 Chevy Kodiak/4500 4WD. Average GVW 18,250 pounds not counting trailer.
