Use the first letter or 2 of your kids names to form a new word, like the founder of Pamida stores did. (Pam, Mike , David) After all, this is a family owned company. or Walton, How about Northstar WiLite.

Sorry if I have repeated anybody elses names, this thread is getting too long to reread every time I think of some new ones.
I have been a tent camper since my Boy Scout days long, long, ago. Now I need to get up off of the cold ground to get a good nights rest, a truck camper seems to be the best choice. I am here to learn as much as I can.

Seeing how NuWa no longer markets the "Snowbird" that name is probably up for grabs in the US. It sure would confuse a lot of folks and probably piss one off too!

Comet is not a good one. Remember the Dehaviland Comet. The British commercial jet. I believe the first commercial jet airliner in service. The wings dropped off. Of course, Rex could introduce this same feature to his campers & build in better obsolescence.

Not bad Dan. We actually had a motorhome manufacturer call us last year asking for permission to use that name. They did not do a search for RV's until all paint and graphics had been ordered. It was a gray area wether they could use it, and we signed off that they could. Newmar's Northern Star Diesel pusher.

Geez, I like the sound of Northstar Spirit. :fing32: And it wasn't even my idea. :)

I think I went to Spirit Lake a couple of years ago. Isn't there a Berkeley fishing gear store/plant there?

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Craig,

There is a rather large chain of coffee/frape/espresso/mocha java/whatever stores that might have a problem with your #18 Northstar "Star Buck"

They probably sell more coffee stuff than all our septic systems pump out in one year (sorry about the nasty visual)

And their lawyers are probably all pumped up on caffeine and act real fast

Yes, the son of the founder has built a BIG house at Lake Okoboji. If I remember the story, they tore down about 5 houses to make room for his mansion. LO is one of only 5 blue water lakes in the world. My barber has told me it is so deep, nobody knows how deep. ???!! In this area you see a lot of car rear window stickers University of Okoboji. That is a factious place, dreamed up by some advertising person.
