I am asking for help from everyone to help name a new Northstar camper. It is harder to do than you think. (at least for me)The background on the camper is a unit targeted at the Tundra, F-150, 1500 market. I want something modern to appeal to the baby boomer crowd. So many campers have used up great names over the decades. Some stupid ones I thought of:

Moonbeam........thats just terrible

Wind Bandit......terrible too

Die Osama Die........just can't get that one out of my head

You can see I need help!!

Almost all the others I think of have been used. Forest River has a great nack at coming up with names. Remember that it will be billed as Northstars _________

If I end up using a name from someone here, I will pay them a 100.00 bounty. Anyone welcome to throw their idea into the ring.

Rex, I think the name is obvious, it should be a Northstar "Galaxy". Keep the 100 bucks, you can give me a beer and Northstar shirt instead.

Rex,

In honor of a great fellow I met at the Ogalalla show, I think it would be appropriate to call it the Northstar Chuckwagon. As you can see things are a little slow around here today.

Rex,
I think something like Northstar Tex or NorthstarTexson. This would be in honor of your grandfather and company founder and also your father. I see( in the NADA guide) that you have not used the name Texson since 1997 so ther should b e now problem with name recognition

I vote for: The Prime Polaris Celestial Boondocker

Seriously, though.... You could have 4 versions of the same model:

Polaris
Thuban
Vega
Alpha Cephei

From the website: THE NORTHSTAR

"Over the course of time, the North Star changes. Right now Polaris is within one degree of true north, but at other times the North Star has been and will again be Thuban (the brightest star in the constellation Draco), Vega (the brightest star in the constellation Lyra), and Alpha Cephei (the brightest star in the constellation Cepheus)."

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

So, can we knock other suggestions? Big Grin. The Chevy Nomad was a cheap little car. Sorry Blue Stilly. I have just returned from a 4 hour high school track meet. I wasn't kidding about new shoes. My wife said my kid was running in sneakers. If I was a good Dad I would have bought him track shoes. So I put on my slogan thinking cap. Here goes another round.
Northstar Veri Lite
" Microlite
" i lite (like I Pod)
" nite lite
" Knight lite (the South east Knights were running in the track meet)
" Galazie
" Rocket (the Northeast Rockets were there)
" Winner (I'm not sure who the winner was, but it wasn't my kid) (He didn't have track shoes)
" wihi Zelii ( I wa trying to get my pen to write.)
" Aurora Borealisis (I can't spell very good)

" and the best name, Northstar Navigator because this team was actually in the track meet. Yes we have Northstar High School. I believe it was named after Northstar Campers, only because we dont have Lance High School.
