Typically I drink Samual Adams Lite as a flavorful beer I can pretend to not be growing my beer belly so fast on. When I'm in a what the heck mode, it's Anchor Steam.

Finally a topic I know something about. I like beer, any beer. Free beer tastes best. Beer is best consumed in warm weather, like it is now in Arizona. I have been known (in hot weather) to consume a dozen a month. But there is nothing like cheap friends, hot weather and good beer. I mean cheap beer, hot weather, and good friends. Actually it works either way for me. Bud is usually my beer of choice, most of my friends drink Bud. But I am Canadian, and I like beer.
My doctor asked me if my eyesight was sometimes blurred, if my sense of balance seemed out of whack at times. He said do you urinate a lot. I had to answer yes to his questions. He told me he thinks I have diabetes. That was good news I always thought it was the beer. Finished up the plant Christmas party today. drank some beer, gave away some gifts, had a great time with my employees. I am ready to head south. I look forward to camping in the desert with a bunch of friends, and drinking beer, any beer. as long as the weather is warm.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all on NATCOA

From Bob and the employees of Interior RV.

That would be Iron City Beer, Pittsburgh, PA.!!!! Can't get it in MI, so I'm always the one who volunteers to go to Ohio or PA for meetings, etc.!!! The stuff is awesome!!! I can use it to light the fire, fill coolant level, holding tank blues, windshield wiper solvent, cook eggs in it, and yes drink it!!! Here in the MidWest, we like to think of it as liquid duct tape!!!! LOL

We can put them in anonymous cups like the test mentioned earlier.....I know we're not supposed to drink alcohol in the state park....but doesn't a beer pot luck (from your local favorite brewery) sound like a GREAT member meeting member activity?!?!?! :fing32:

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

An ice cold bottle of Alaskin Amber, in fact several bottles... :fing32:

I'll second that...I'm drinking an Alaskan Amber right now. It's hard to beat after shoveling a foot of snow off the roof of the camper and clearing the rest of the snow from the driveway. Cheers :fing32:

as did Ben Franklin, "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

As for my source of happiness, my everyday basic is MGD. Sam Adams Winter Lager is good as is a very hoppy IPA at the local brewery.

#1 would be something that I have brewed as it always tastes better to me...though of my own brews, I like the Nut Brown the best, and second would be the Red.

In reality, a better question might be which type of beer do you like best. I love going to microbreweries and trying different brands versions...and in general reds/browns are my favorite. I do love a good stout or portar at times as well. I am not a huge fan of India Pale Ales....come on, the beer doesn't have to have enough hops (which functions as a preservative) to survive a sailing trip from Britain to India anymore! It's OK, just not tops on my list...I like ESB's better than IPA's.

Anyway, to the intent of the original post.....I buy a variety when I am at the liquor store, but I'd say my most common choices are Single Track (they call it a copper I think?) from Boulder Brewery, Avalanche Ale (a Brown from Breckenridge Brewery) and Fat Tire (a red/amber from New Belgium Brewery in Ft. Collins.) I think I have all three in my fridge now, along with a case of Coor's Winterfest (a christmas run they do each year.)

I also occaisonally take my 5 gallon kegs to the Golden City Brewery and get them filled there. It costs about $35 for 5 gallons and they make some good beers. Owned by the former mining geologist at the Henderson molyebdenum mine (geologists make the best beer!!!!!) it is the SECOND largest brewery in Golden. Just a little behind Coor's.

Once I get a bigger truck and don't have the weight worries....I might just try to figure out a way to setup a single 5 gallon keg somehow. I honestly don't drink THAT much beer, but keg beer is just so much better than from a bottle, and my fridge sure would be a lot bigger if I didn't keep beer in it. If Bob would ever figure out how to put a tap within reach of the command seats I'd have to consider a Snow River next time.

Imagine an additional hook-up to the truck:

Tie-downs, check. 7-way electrical, check. Rear view camera, check. CO2 line, check. :069:

Actually CO2 bottles are pretty small so you'd just mount it in the TC somewhere - and you'd want to keep the beer lines very short. The cooler drawer in the new S&S's would be perfect but it would have to be vertical instead of horizontal.
