There sure is a lot of discussion going on about beer in the thread about Marlene & snow. So let's hear it for your favorite flavor of beer.

Mine is Mac & Jacks African Amber. Only available on tap and brewed in Redmond, WA. Its a nice unfiltered amber and has been my favorite since moving to the Pacific Northwest several years ago. :1056:

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

When I drink beer (rarely) it is usually Corona (much to Ken's horror!). I also enjoy a nice cold Harp.

Ken's favs are Guiness and Anchor Steam.

However, my drink of choice is Rum and Diet Coke.....mmmmmm..... :1056:

Well your camper choice is made, Snow river. Bob keeps Bud in business. Only problem is that 1/2 ton has to go.

I once was in a beer drinking taste test thru the University. You drank two ounces of beer, wrote down what you liked about it, then had a saltine....this over and over. You were trying to pick a favorite beer for taste. Of course you did not know what you were drinking, and I chose Generic. Remeber the beer that was in the plain white can and it said generic on it. Made by Falstaff. Guess I am not qualified to have a favorite.

Sammy (Sam Adams) makes a bunch of good ones, right now the winter brew is pretty good. Highland Orchards Pale Ale is made in SturbridgeMA is mighty fine and Atlantic Brewery Cole Porter is very tasty (Bar Harbor, ME). I think most of the local micro brewerys put the big time guys to shame.

Inspiration
I believe in these difficult and mean-spirited times in which we live there needs to be a message of hope. Just a single image that speaks to us of love, harmony, peace and joy. An image that suggests the universal brotherhood of man. I have found that image, and I ask that all of you take a moment to be inspired by it.
