So far, so good, Tate. Glad to hear you guys are okay. Went out for lunch today and the restaurant was packed because so many are without power and need to eat.

That was something about the truck & camper in Idaho.

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Whoa,
You guys and girls sure are getting hit with the winter storms on the coast.
Hope all is ok, with all of our members. The SB/SR TCs can handle it, I'd be worried about the others.

xnorp,
Who does that TC belong to? What a sight!!

Not to worry Snowy, I'm sure my FIBERGLASS TC will handle this breeze just fine. I would be concerned about the wood framed ones, anyone have one of those ??? ;) :P

Our Snowbird has been through the test... -40 over many winters and survived. Now it's up to the others to see if they survive the wind test.
I'm sure the BF's and NLs will fair just fine also. Just make sure it's batten down the hatches.... (hey, where's the smiley face icon gone to anyways)? All of the other smilies are there. ;)

on edit, reverse decifer?? I manually did a smiley and it showed up as a icon, what's with that Paul?

It was rock-n-roll here above Machias/Snohomish area last night, The lighting and thunder was right on top of us The rain came down so hard I thought the skylighs were going to break. Our power went out at 8:30 and is still out. Getting real break in on the big genny this time.

Three of the 5 way down off the hill were blocked by fallen trees. Knock on wood I only lost a few alder in the woods away from buildings.

The cat sure like in side...

Hope all store surviors are well.

You have to see the funny side in all this I guess.... Couldn't stand myself any more opted for the cold shower - got in - soaped up and the gen ran out of gas.... going through 16 gallons a day.....

BC Hydro called a few minutes ago - asked if we were still out - I said yes and asked when to expect it on - she honestly replied absolutely no idea, just wanted to make sure you were out.....

Well power back on after only two days this time. I was in the chair and heard a huge roar I thought it was a big deisel boat because the trees wern't moving then it hit. The trees were bent over and the freeking wind was howiling and the rain was the hardest I have seen since VietNam. I had water in the camper and the furnace worked so we had heat and could shower. Backed the truck up behind the house and still had to put the jacks down. The fellow behind us had part of his roof blow away(new house.) The ground is so satureted that trees just can't stand up to the wind and pull out of the ground. We didn't have that many trees down on the island because anything that could fall happened last week during the snow storm. Golly gee whiz the wind is starting to blow again YIPPEE!!!%$#@. Oh well I guess things could be worse I could live where the temps are 75 all the time with NO SNOW or flipping RAIN but someebody has to do it. I would put a smiley here but what the He..!
