Will be running a test on my SR jacks tonight. Winds are now running 27 MPH and gusting to 39. They are saying peak won’t start until about 9PM thru 4AM with gust to 65 MPH. Hope that all in NW will stay in and stay safe. This is a big one for us.
Be well

We've got the genny setting on the back porch just in case we need it. Should be an interesting night. At least we are supposed to get any snow.

Here in Powell River it started snowing around noon. Got 3 inches of really wet snow on the ground now and the rain has started. We are waiting for the wind next. There are parts of the area that still do not have power from Monday's storm.

Weve got two inches of toothpaste type snow in the trees - its going to be an ugly night - still got 3 trees across the road and the powerlines broken in 4 places... Been on the generator for 3 days now - the crew is getting a little smelly....... Strong NW should take down any weak trees left up.... Talk to you in the am 18 days of no power out of the last 30 - getting bored with this...

The wind woke me up just after 2:30 a.m.
It is LOUD!
I thought I had the yard buttoned up pretty tight, but something was banging on the sundeck and I think the garbage cans started flying around down below. Hopefully I can get back to sleep soon..........

We lost power last night starting around 8:30 p.m. It kept oing off, coming on, going off, coming on and finally staying off around 9:15 or so. It was on when we got up this morning. Still windy as heck and raining but we've got power. We think the snow storm a few weeks ago took out a lot of the weak trees so not as many fell this time around. I hear Seattle got hit pretty hard.

Still here, a few trees went down in the north 4orty, a few hours of lost grid, just plugged into the SnowRiver to keep the pellet stove going and the water flowing.

Hey, Tate, report in when you get your power back on and let us know how the SR withstood the wind.

Had mine at the hospital last night. Kept it on the truck and put the jacks down. It took some 80mph gusts and did fine. I do have some water in the gen compartment though. Power still out at home too and trees down between me and there...
