Yay! Its raining and washing away the Cascade Crud, Snohomish Slush, whatever you want to call it!!!! Yay!

Crikey, after all the rain we've had this month (its been a record breaker in Seattle), I can't believe I'm happy to see more of it. I almost wanted to break out the Hawaiian shirt today - it was above freezing for a change.

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Here are a couple of shots for dump # 2 here in Courtenay. No rain yet as the temp is dropping, again and just for shits and giggles the f@#$ing snowplow just filled in the end of my driveway..................Steve...

Looks like you got the winter wonderland snow Steve.
Now all your missing is the 40 to 50 mph winds with some -30 temps and you could join the Great White North Club.
The snow on the end of the driveway should be handled by a Honda snowblower. I was just looking at the latest reddest, bestest machines at the local Honda store. $3600cdn gets you one bad a$$ machine that does every thing but steer. It would eat up that piled of snow along with your wallet in no time at all. They are one mean machine.

Tree vs Chev truck

Tree one
Chev truck zero

A maintaince supervisor was on SR-9 North of Arlington last week when a tree laden with snow came down on his truck. He was not injured, but I think he aged a little and went out after work to buy a lottery ticket and wash his shorts... :ph43r:
