Truck.jpg I bought my first diesel and would like your thoughts on what upgrades you would recommend? This is what I have ordered Torklift Talon Tie downs, Stableload Quick Disconnect lower and upper, Original FastGun's (White) Wireless Airbags, Leveling kit. Custom Front and Rear Bumpers,New Tires and WheelsWireless camera for the camper.

This is what I have on my other truck and like. Is there anything that I could do to the motor for better performance?

Any Positive Input would be helpful.

Enjoy it!

Exactly same truck I have except a 2015. I did add a heavy duty helwig rear sway bar the improvement was significant. I don't why thiese heavy trucks don't come with one. You don't need to improve the motor performance. It's pretty awesome as is. You can't chip it as it will void the warranty. I have a heavy camper and put 19.5 inch wheels and 14 ply tires on mine. You may not need them. Love my GMC

Use it as-is first.  Your GMC has a boxed frame, my '09 Chevy doesn't.  Your carrying capacity is more than mine, and I carry a '12 Lance 1050 (which needs airbags to compensate for the heavier right side of the TC).  Remember, whatever you spend on upgrades cuts into your fuel and camping fees money.

Sorry to blow the topic here but...

Excellent point Sir!

It's a fact I struggle with constantly.

Sometimes it seems my TC is under constant modifications and upgrades but never leaves the paddock. doh.gif
