​ This trip was pretty special to me. I absolutely love hiking the mountain tops. With missing out all summer on those hikes due to knee surgery, it was emotional for me to get back there.

Have you stayed at the campground near the top of Sherman Pass. It was closed for some reason when we were through their after the last Glacier Rally at the 5 lakes resort I think it was.

Have you stayed at the campground near the top of Sherman Pass. It was closed for some reason when we were through their after the last Glacier Rally at the 5 lakes resort I think it was.

 We stayed at the camp spot right at the top. It has 2 spots and is forest service. There is a bigger forest service campground down the east side of the pass about 1/3 of a mile. We drove through to look at it.
