Mine is not a NL, but I have two panels on the cab over section and one along side the air conditioner. It would be easy to glue mounts on your NL rather than drill mounting holes for your panels. If you have the unit prewired for solar, you can connect all the panels before going to a single connection plug. If you do not have wiring in place the easiest way to get inside is through the refrigerator vent. MPPT controllers are more efficient but more costly - If you go with one of these, you would wire your solar panels in series to boost the voltage and reduce the amperage. This give you less line loss and the ability to run thinner wire than when pushing higher amperage.
