What-if any- rallies, gatherings, etc are planned in the Rocky Mountain/Midwest regions for the coming year. I just got my camper this fall and, being new to truck camping, I'd kind of like to SEE how everyone else does it. The events calendar doesn't show anything for next year, and since I have to have my vacation requests for next year in by the end of this month, I figured I'd better ask.

Clint,

Hello there, and Congrats on Your New Rig!!!  :fing32:  :fing32:  :fing32:  :fing32:

I'm the Wagon Master for the MidWest Truck Campers & Friends.  I'm from western Iowa, my wife & I started our so call group in 2013 and we now have over 125 rigs in our group.  We have Rallies and Gatherings in the middle region of the US.  I've posted our events here on NATCOA in the rallies section.

We have a rallie planned in Missouri on July 18-22, 2017,  at Treasure Lake RV Resort in Branson, Missouri.

We have a Christmas party planned this Nov. 30 - Dec. 4th 2016 in Branson Missouri.  We have 24 rigs signed up thus far to attend.  This is a Gathering in Branson.

There is a Gathering planned by another gentleman on another forum for Sept. 21 -24th, 2017 @ Ponca State Park, in Nebraska, if you want more info on that let me know and send me a private email.

The great thing about TC'ers is that they love to chat and show you their TC's.  Your more than welcome to show up to one of our events.

If i can help you with anything else just let me know.

Doug.  / MWTCF Wagon Master

I am not hosting any NATCOA rallies next year. However there was talk about a  rally in Wyoming but I am not sure that will go or not. At this time no one else has stepped forward on hosting a NATCOA rally in the Rocky Mountain region.

love everyday like you won the lotto.

Anybody have information on the Ponca rally. ? Mentioned above.
I have been a tent camper since my Boy Scout days long, long, ago. Now I need to get up off of the cold ground to get a good nights rest, a truck camper seems to be the best choice. I am here to learn as much as I can.

Sounds like the same time as the MO River Outdoor Expo.. No available camping there that weekend, as the state reserves the whole park.
