I started out with the truck camper in 1967 had a couple of them had trailers motorhomes fifth wheels all that kind of stuff actually had a couple of everything and I finally decided I'm through with all that I want the versatility of a truck camper and a truck or I can take the camper off and use the truck as a truck so I'm back to the truck and camper and I couldn't be happier finding snowriver on a Chevy Duramax I actually met the owner 16 years ago in Washington state at a truck camper rally. I was friends with the builder of Snowrivers, He wa one of the finedt people I ever met.

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Hey Jerry:

Welcome back to the fold.  Long time no chat.  Our Lance is or will be up for sale once we get home and we have to go pick up a new 5'er to replace it in Missoula, MT later this month.  For us we like the extra space the 5'er offers us with 3 pets and Sally's mother Susan when she tags along on trips with us.

Hope to see you again at a future rally.

George

I'm glad Jerry is going to be enjoying my camper and truck. We had many years of great times with that rig. But we decided to buy a travel trailer because the overhead bunk was too hard for us to get in and out of. Like a lot of folks before us who have left the ranks of the camper , it is a sad day. I will still be checking in from time to time. Wish all of you great camping and traveling adventues

All this talk of not being on the forum just because you dont have a truck camper...

it is very well known that ANY rally hosted by a NATCOA host allows any and all makes for gatherings and rallies. So don't let that stop you from attending and visiting with fellow truck camper friends. After all, we are truck camper "minded" people. Its kind of a lifelong badge no matter what you sleep in. lol. Hope to see you all soon.
