I set up my last item on my trucks dashboard last night getting things ready to head to the Seafood Festival next week. I have my cell phone holder, my backup camera monitor and my navigation device. While I can see out the windshield with no obstructions and it is completely safe, I had to laugh at all the electronics set up on the dash.

What is on your dashboard while hauling the camper?

love everyday like you won the lotto.

I have a trickle charger solar panel that sits on the dashboard shelf and 3.5" GPS stuck to a suction cup attached to the lower left corner of the windscreen. In the center console are USB cords that connect the phones to the truck radio and charge them plus a 300w inverter for powering/charging other electrical devices.

The trickle panel will go away once the new TC arrives since it will have a back feed solar charging system connected to the truck. The GPS has older maps, but is a backup to cellphone mapping when coverage is sketchy and will most likely stay until the electronics die. At that point I will consider whether to replace it since it moves between car/truck/motorcycle/dune buggy based on need.

Although I had the capability for a backup camera displaying on my previous in-dash GPS, I never utilized it. There is a blind spot behind me, but I have not found I need a camera for hitching, backing or turning.

Just my backup camera screen, but below that on the console is the CB radio with a large screen GPS mounted on it and then you have all of the wife's crap.

Monitor for back up camera.

Traffic cam mounted to windshield

GPS on dash.

So. . .three screens on at same time.

I don't know how I ever drove anywhere without them before now.
