A buddy of mine who immigrated here from Columbia has developed a product. It's an LED flare that is super bright and indestrucible. Seems to me RVs would be a good fit, I have always been nervous about carrying combustable flares in my RV. He is coming for a BBQ on the weekend so I asked him to bring one to look at. Not sure how much they are. He is already selling them to some police departments.

There are already products like this on the market. They typically look like oversized hockey pucks with multi strobe pattern LED's. The cases are hard enough that if run over, they will not crack. Some are sealed and can be submerged at depth, but they are disposable since you cannot get to the battery. Others are less water tight but have replaceable or rechargeable batteries.

 

Some off-roaders use them as "dust lights" so others can see them when kicking up the silt on desert trails.
