Once again, we will be attending the Fall Festival on Schweizter Mountain in Sandpoint Idaho during the Labor Day Weekend. While I am not setting this up as a rally I am just letting you all know about it in case you wish to join us. Some have attended with us the past few years and it was a fantastic time. There is a lot to do and so much more than just a beer festival. Several bands play the three days and that is free. Hiking, geocaching, horseback riding, mountain bike riding, disc golf, family kids zone, shopping, restaurants and more are all to be had.

Parking for the RV has been free and when the event draws closer I will make sure there is no change to that. Parking is in the dirt parking lot with no hookups. The lot gets very full quickly and I will arrive on the Thursday 9/1 before the event.

This event goes rain or shine.

More details on the bands and more will be added once the resort posts them.

ON EDIT:

It appears that the resort is now charging $20 per night to park the RV overnight. No hookups still. You pay after you park, no reservations.

Damn, looks like I will miss it this year. Maybe I will send George over since I have to work.

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

Well thats a bummer. We can make sure George rolls down the hill to his correct RV.

I am hoping Hells Bells play again at the festival, they are awesome.

Looking forward to this event at Schweitzer. Still peeved that the resort is charging $20 per night to park in the gravel lot with no amenities but hey...it is cheaper than a hotel up there.

I hope I get the new Torklift tie down parts so I can haul the camper up with the new truck. If not, Ill drive the Chevy...either way...I will be there.
