I'm still studying Colorado passes to figure out what I may need for access...

Good point.  We just got a Jeep Rubicon which we'll be toading to the rally.

I'm still waiting on the supplemental braking system part, anticipating it's install, and had not even thought of the potential permits for it in Colorado.

If you stray off the roads, you need a non-resident OHV permit regardless of how your vehicle is licensed. There is no reciprocity with WA like some other states honor.

That's probably the ONLY good thing about CA, there is no seperate registration for truck campers, we just move the plate from our truck to the TC, and we're good.  That's about all I like about CA.  The rest of the state is garbage.
