Sure, come on down, I am just about finished with a new patio that I am building in the back yard. Got most of it done, moved my BBQ pit in yesterday, I'm sure that by the time you guys show up I'll be able to make some fajitas, frijoles, tortillas and provide a few Lone Star beers. I only drink Heineken's, but figure cheap old Lone Star is good enough for company,

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors to the north, we are having our third "Alberta clipper" come through. First one melted but second dropped about 4" here and a lot of ice in the Dakotas. Lots of power lines down there which can be inconvenient when the wind is blowing at 40-50 mph, it's below freezing and you have no heat. We expect another 2" tonight.

Hopefully this is the start of a real winter. Much of our winter economy is based on selling snowblowers and snowmobiles and going ice fishing. So far our local lakes don't even have ice on them. In the past, you could start driving on them by mid to late December. Nothing like the sound of ice cracking under your car as you drive along.

About 4 or 5 as well. Its bloody cold out there today. Feels like about -2 or -3 (For you yanks that's about 28). My Mexican dog just went nuts in the snow. He loves it now he has more fur. Last winter he still had a lot of his Baja coat.
