another big update for this rally... torklift will be joining our rally for a day. they will be doing a show and tell seminar on friday. scheduled time right now is 4pm on the friday but we might adjust the time a little bit. a big thank you to our friends at torklift for their continued support.

That's Great Rich!!!  I'm sure everyone will love to have Torklift there.

I've been trying to get them to the MidWest TC Rally this summer, but no answer,  I think its because there is about 3000 miles between the Amana, Iowa and Sumner, Washington.  To far evidently.  Or maybe your better at bribes.  I offered them a chance at the possibility of 90 -105 degree temps and 90-100% dry humidity.  Why wouldn't they like that? :sign0020:

At some point can you post a list of attendees and what they have listed to bring for the Sat. potluck so others can plan accordingly?

What is this Fireball you speak of?  Is it a syrup you poor over your breakfast pancakes.  Ummmmm

Thanks,

George

Anyone interested in playing a round of golf one day with Sally and I while attending this event?  We are both duffers but have our own clubs and have fun playing like we know what we are doing and chasing the little white ball around.

Bank's Lake Golf Course is near the RV Park.

Cool Robin, I look forward to you and any others in attendance joining us.  Either Friday or Saturday.  Do you have clubs?  I'm sure the course has some rentals available if you don't.  As we get closer to June I'll contact the course and post here a firm date and t-time.

Do you have any preference on which day?  Depending on what other excursions and opportunities come up we can work in half a day for a round of golf.

George

The interstate system of highways is fine for getting where you need to be in a hurry, but it's the road less traveled that is more enjoyable. Take in the scenery before life passes you by in a blur.

George,

I have my own clubs and I'm fine with any day (or every day for that matter).

Sally,

Availability of a cinnamon spirit is purely dependent on my relation to par (where par is somewhere between bogey and double-bogey golf).  Of course, if George is whupping me then the spirit will be freely available to him.  Hope we can walk to the course and back.

it was asked if the resort allows you to take the camper off of the truck while at the rally...YES is the answer. it is a non issue with them.

You keep score? What's that? I will tell you right now I don't - I can't count that high. I only keep track of how many beverages consumed. :happy0045:

also...if anyone is bringing a kayak or canoe...i will be doing a early morning paddle out on banks lake friday morning, depending on weather. i like to go early (6am - 630am 'ish) so if you would like to join me, feel free. its early enough to avoid the motor boats with skiers and all the other traffic.

We're reserved for 26, 27, 28, leave 29. Site #69.

Any golf tee times set yet?

Last potluck at Lake 5 Resort By Glacier, we did the garlic mashed Yukon gold potatoes.

The lady at the resort says counting us, there are 14 TC's registered.

today is the last day the sites at the resort will be held. after today it is first come first served.

I went through the list of sign ups with the resort. seems there are 2 people who have not made a reservation. those people were sent an email by me today. so if you signed up for the rally and you did not get an email today from me...then you are good to go for the rally.

thought id post a picture of the area we will be at for the rally. yesterday we climbed steamboat rock and had fantastic views of the area. steamboat rock is about 6 miles south of the resort. the picture is looking from steamboat rock towards the resort.

yes the sites are now a first come first served but at this time there are still sites available to join.
