i  like it when the media reports gas prices. they find the highest priced fuel station they can and report..."look how bad it is here".  from what ive been told and seen there are higher prices in l.a. all the time compared to the rest of the country.

Correct! But I didn't think they were paying $5 a gal while we're paying $3.15 to $3.25. Which is slowly creeping up. Didn't pay attention to diesel Rich, did you?

no i didnt. i dont worry about it really. remember last year about this time when they announced what the fuel prices WILL be during the summer? it didnt even get close. im not adjusting any plans on what they say. there is no way around paying for gas. unless i hire some guy to push the truck down the road im paying for fuel. i suppose at some point it might be cheaper to do that. lol

I bought fuel for the truck two weeks ago at $3.69, Saturday I bought five gallons for the tractor at the same price. However, across the street the price was $3.99.  In town most places are selling it for $4.15 but a couple of places are now at $4.39 (near I-10).  A person needs to be real careful of where they stop or you get to pay the higher prices.

My Dodge just turned 52,000 miles and its an '08, so I guess I can do the delete on the EGR. This, from what I've read on the CTD forum should increase the mpg.  I'll see how expensive it will be; my spare change is all designated for my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which has over 169,000 miles but is new to me (bought in October).

I don't care what the price of fuel is, I plan on camping this year. My wife is healthy again, I'm as healthy as I'll ever be, and the dogs love to travel (almost 9 months old).
