I also picked up a new laptop and can't believe the difference over the eight year old one it replaced. Have windows 7 on three computers that are all rock solid. I installed Windows Essentials for virus protection that is doing a great job and its freePosted Image
Have wireless G at home and was surprised at how much faster it is.

I bought a new laptop and had Windows 7 professional 64 bit installed on it. I use AVG and also usually use Firefox. I have downloaded Firefox multiple times and every time I do I get the message that Firefox has crashed. I am only able to run it in safe mode. Has any one else had this problem? Before I downloaded, I uninstalled Firefox and started over. Any suggestions? I have been running my computer in safe mode for several weeks, but notice that I can not use any Firefox upgrades...nor any plug ins. I also set up XP mode and was able to download the full Firefox with no problems under that mode....Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nancy....aka Reedy
